Description

Do you have an existing pay station and want to upgrade to a monthly wash pass program without having to replace it? Then the Overpass solution is for you.  This is a plug and play set-up designed for self-install.  Today, your pay station is wired directly to your car wash equipment controls.  To install Overpass, Dencar's Hybrid App + Hardware solution,  you simply unplug those wires and plug them into the Overpass box.  You then plug Overpass into the car wash equipment controls.  The Overpass solution plugs into a Dencar supplied "network in a box" in your equipment room.  Additionally, there are two cameras that need installed for driver, vehicle, and license plate capture as well as a mini pay station that can be mounted on a pedestal pole.  

The Overpass solution can also be coupled with a Site Controller to add additional services such as vacuums, self-serve, or dog wash capabilities to your monthly membership program.  Dencar's activation modules simulate quarter pulses, so most any timer that accepts a pulse can be integrated.

Environment
  • Retail wash sales continue to use your existing pay station.
  • An approximate 8" x 12" mini pay station is installed next to your pay station with the Virtual Pay Station interface.
  • Purchase the monthly membership or single washes via the Virtual Pay Station interface with all electronic payment methods including Apple Pay & Android Pay.
  • Purchase and redeem the membership from the Overpass interface or via the Mobile Wallet Kiosk.
Hardware
  • Overpass equipment.
  • "Network in a box".
  • Two cameras for driver, vehicle, and license plate capture.
  • Linux controller running the Denpay software.
  • Virtual Pay Station credit card unit.
